You know it, they know it, and the Zoo knows it: summer in South Florida is great, but it also guarantees one thing: heat. But don’t let that stop you from having fun with the kids because Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society knows exactly how to beat the heat.
Kids Free Summer is in full swing, and it's one of the best deals around. Now through July 31, 2026, four kids ages 3 to 12 can get into the Zoo for free with the purchase of a full-priced adult ticket. Nope, you didn’t read that wrong, and we didn’t write that wrong. FOUR kids for free! That's a whole crew of little adventurers admitted at no extra cost. Plus, they've got the perfect setup to keep your family cool, entertained, and wild all season long.
Be Cool & Stay Cool
The Zoo's summer campaign is all about helping families find ways to enjoy the summer and create an unforgettable adventure. With plenty of shady spots, refreshing ice cold treats, and their incredible animals also keeping cool, it’s a unique way to connect back to nature. The lush, tropical setting makes the Zoo one of the more naturally shaded wildlife experiences in the area. After all, do you really want to bake in the heat all day?
Beyond the animals, you'll find opportunities to learn about the Zoo's important conservation mission. Summer is in session, but that doesn’t mean the learning has to stop. And they’re here to make it fun because teaching kids to love and protect wildlife starts with seeing it up close. It's the kind of learning that doesn't feel like learning at all.
Something New at the Café
Foodies, take note. The Zoo is rolling out exciting new menu additions this summer, including several new shrimp dishes at the café. Whether you need a quick bite between habitats or splashing around, their restaurant is a great way to cool down and enjoy a meal together. As you take on your adventure at the Zoo, there are plenty of ice-cold treats to keep those temperatures down and the excitement up. An ice cream while watching the otters swim laps or the koalas take a nap? That sounds like a cool, core summer memory!
Parents, You Deserve a Night Out Too
Parents, enjoy the Kids Free Summer, but make some time for yourself too. They’ve also got special nights planned just for their wild guests ages 21 and up. On these nights, don't stress about remembering strollers, juice boxes, and a spare change of clothes. On these nights, grab some drinks, take on some line dancing, and maybe even have a throwback to the music you would jam out to in your old Corolla. Wild Night Out events take place on the last Saturday of each month, June through September, and each event has its own fun theme:
- June: Boots at the Zoo (line dancing in your finest country gear)
- July: Paws & Santa Claus (the holiday season is here early)
- August: Tails & Touchdowns (welcome back, college football season!)
- September: Decades After Dark (featuring music from previous decades)
Usually, the kiddos are talking about their time at the Zoo. But on these nights, it’s all about you! It's a perfect reason to get the adults together for a special evening at the Zoo with food, beverages, and live entertainment.
