The Science of Chocolate is on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m.
- Chocolate Fountain from 11:00 a.m.-noon and 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. (closed at noon to replenish)
- 10:30 a.m. - Layers of Earth Lab (Chocolate Edition) in the Learning Lab
- 10:30 a.m. - Chocolate Discovery Tales Story Time at the Outdoor Cox Amphitheater
- 11:30 a.m. - Chocolate Oobleck Lab in the Learning Lab
- 12:30 p.m. - Layers of Earth Lab (Chocolate Edition) in the Learning Lab
- 1:30 p.m. - Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Demonstration at the Outdoor Cox Amphitheater
- 2:30 p.m. - Chocolate Oobleck Lab in the Learning Lab
This event is included with paid Science Center admission and free for members. Tickets purchased at the door or online.
Cox Science Center admission (including the event) is as follows: $26 for adults, $24 for seniors 60+, $22 for children ages 3-12, FREE for children under 3. Planetarium Shows $5.
